Join South Dakota Professional Services LLC as an independent outside sales representative and help homeowners and small businesses explore professionally installed security, monitoring, video, fire-protection and smart-automation options through our ADT authorized dealer relationship with SafeStreets.
Opportunity Details
The initial focus is Sioux City and Sergeant Bluff, but the opportunity is open throughout Iowa and Nebraska for the right person. As an independent contractor, you choose your own days, hours and location within an approved territory. Representatives may develop leads through local networking, referrals, community relationships and direct outreach while following the approved sales process.

How is the outside security sales representative paid?
The sales opportunity is 100% commission-based with a generous commission split. There is no salary or hourly wage, and earnings are not guaranteed. Exact commission, payment and contractor terms are reviewed with qualified applicants and included in the written agreement.
Can the sales representative choose when and where to work?
Yes. The independent contractor chooses their own workdays, hours and sales location within an approved Iowa or Nebraska territory. Sioux City and Sergeant Bluff are the primary focus, but qualified representatives may develop other areas in either state.
Is work guaranteed every week?
No. Workload varies by location and client demand. The Sioux City opening currently anticipates weekly part-time work; other positions are primarily as needed.
Do I need my own insurance and equipment?
Yes. Contractors must maintain appropriate insurance and provide equipment required for their assignments. We may be able to connect applicants with an insurance agent.
